An editor tool that groups content-type fields into clean tabs and accordions.
Project details
Strapi custom fields to group other fields into accordions or tabs, implemented using Strapi custom fields that can be added straight from the content type builder. Content types with dozens of fields make the default Strapi edit view long and hard to scan.
What we built
- A custom field type that groups existing fields into named tabs or collapsible accordion sections, with no changes to the underlying data model.
- An admin field-grouping renderer that plugs into Strapi's content manager without forking core code.
- A content-type-builder integration so editors add tabs/accordions the same way they add any other field.
Result
Editors move through long content types much faster, and the plugin now ships as a reusable tool across multiple Strapi projects.
